Please provide a published reliable source for this information (see WP:RS). WIkipedia as a volunteer project is not a reliable source itself, but of course you could use reliable sources that are listed in other Wikipedia articles as references, if they verify the given information. Add Verma as a thakuri clan. edit

the important things is verma is the kshatriya clan .The first king of Thakuri clan was King Amshu Verma. So its my regard read about this and correct the thakuri clan surname. Thakur Govindraj Varma (talk) 18:04, 13 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

You are talking about a different Thakuri dynasty. Amshu Verma was the founder of the Vaishya Thaakuris, that is people who were Vaishya (traders) by caste but were able to briefly rule in Kathmandu Valley for a time. This article is about the general Khas/Magar Thakuris. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2400:1A00:B010:728A:CAB2:9BFF:FE44:B08D (talk) 19:04, 23 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sugesst me how to translate nepali to thakuri language 103.121.172.7 (talk) 10:20, 9 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

There is no such thing as Thakuri langauge per se - it's just a dialect that is believed to have been first used by the ruling Shah family a few generations ago (I assume >100 years). I have found no sources as to its origin.
Example:
Nepali (high respect): Khana khanu vayou?
Royal dialect: Khana khai baksyo?
Thakuri: Khana khaisyo?
For more info, please see 'A Course in Nepali' by David Mathews, Lesson 20, which includes the royal dialect. 2400:1A00:B010:F724:CAB2:9BFF:FE44:B08D (talk) 14:55, 3 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
