Schedule - Unencyclopedic

edit

According to section 1.7.7. 1.7.3.* of Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, Wikipedia is not a radio guide. Can this section, rather than be deleted, be changed to something like Programmes and Presenters. There are websites which can do a much better job of keeping a schedule up to date.

*It was section 1.7.7. but it has since changed to 1.7.3. --tgheretford (talk) 07:18, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Magic FM.png

edit

Image:Magic FM.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Noteable presenters

edit

I recently editing the presenters section to make a couple of changes.

A number of listed presenters had been removed as they were not notable and did not have articles. This removal is not uncommon, many radio station articles are being edited similarly to fit with Wikipedia:NOTDIR policy. I agree with this.

However I did restore two peoples names, Kate Thornton and Claire Sweeney. As these are clearly notable people with detailed wikipedia articles.

I also in the process of fixing the formatting of the list and editing the 'current' and 'past' presenter lists from an older revision I also restored a number of non-notable past presenters in error. According to the policy of only listing notable people, these should be removed from the list. I have now edited the page to remove the presenters who do not have a wikipedia article and generally tidied up the tables in this section.

The 'shows' section could do with some editing as well - as some of this reads like a programme guide. Philedmondsuk (talk)

Is the "105.4" branding still in use?

edit

I cannot find any livestream of Magic 105.4 online, just the national feed. Does "Magic 105.4" still exist or is its output (aside from adverts) exactly the same as the national feed now? --AllOriginalBubs (talk) 20:06, 24 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
