I've checked the attendance numbers and it appears that in 2009 they fell to less than one-half of what it was in 2006-2007: 388,571 (2006), 376,934 (2007), 294,672 (2008), 174,000 (2009) (source). That's far worse than the average drop caused by the 2008 crisis (10 to 30%). It fell from top ten to #23. Was it caused by legal battles, or perhaps closing for a major remodeling or what?
