2009

edit

As the Guardian has now abandoned the GuardianAmerica startaegy (http://paidcontent.org/article/419-gnm-axing-guardianamerica.com-shuffling-execs-in-restructure/), shouldn't this at least be absorbed into the guardian.co.uk page as an historical footnote? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.152.249.14 (talk) 16:04, 16 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Guardian US

edit

In September 2011, the Guardian launched 'the Guardian US,' a digital news operation in New York City led by editor-in-chief Janine Gibson, and unveiled a new URL (guardiannews.com) (Source: http://www.guardian.co.uk/gnm-press-office/guardian-unveils-us-url). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shadypounder (talkcontribs) 13:33, 15 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Guardian US or The Guardian US or delete

edit
  1. The Guardian never omits "the" in the most of time officially.
  2. Should this article be deleted or be as part of The Guardian? As The Guardian's press release Guardian unveils url for the US – guardiannews.com – as its new digital operation gets underway in New York, the provided "URL for the US" -- "guardiannews.com" will redirect to "https://www.theguardian.com/us" as an "edition" of The Guardian. --Itsuhi (talk) 17:38, 12 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
