Primary topic for "chips" edit
Whilst this dab page seems sensible for the word "chip", surely the primary meaning of the plural "chips" is the food? Yes I accept the US call them french fries (arguably not quite the same anyway), but "chips" are so overwhelming used to refer to the vegetable, as in the quintessential British dish of "fish and chips", that there must be a good case for redirecting "chips" to "french fries" at least until a separate chips article is produced. I'm just a bit surprised that there's no Wikipedia article on CHIP, the $9 computer lately the rage at Kickstarter.
