pronunciation
editI'm surprised at the /u:/. For English speakers, I'd expect that vowel to be schwa. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.155.97.75 (talk) 09:05, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
- Here in Taiwan I've heard two pronunciations for the company name, /aˈsus/ by those with minimal exposure to English, and /ˈeɪsəs/ by those who do speak English. I personally say it in the latter way. I think the pronunciation in the referenced video is like that only because the speaker has a Taiwanese accent. We tend to fully pronounce unstressed vowels because Mandarin doesn't do vowel reduction. C9mVio9JRy (talk) 00:03, 9 July 2021 (UTC)

Citation 54 links to incorrect article

Bootloader unlock promises undelivered
editI added some lines about the bootloader unlock promises that Asus did not deliver. But, were reverted with a vage comment. Could someone provide a valid explanation? I will revert otherwise 90.167.203.218 (talk) 20:44, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
- Well, your edit was non-neutral. I'm additionally uncertain that what you added was cited to a reliable source, and I suspect you exaggerated the extent of what the source says. DonIago (talk) 20:54, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
