Talk:1973 Old Bailey bombing

Article name

Call me a pedant, but as per Harrods bombings, should the word bombing be capitalised? Also, was there more than one notable bombing at the Old Bailey? If not then we should drop "1973" from the name. --TBM10 (talk) 09:22, 28 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

"Bloody Thursday"

edit

Could someone find direct evidence of newspapers labelling the event "Bloody Thursday"? (I don't have access to the book cited to check its references.) I have searched for headlines or news articles using that phrase and come up blank. 203.220.98.121 (talk) 23:56, 4 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Frederick Milton's death

edit

Although the source (17 November 2009 article in the Telegraph) says a jury declared Milton's death a murder, Keefe's well-respected book on the Troubles, Say Nothing, contradicts their decision: "An autopsy subsequently revealed that his heart attack had actually started prior to the explosion, so the medical evidence did not support a charge of murder." (p. 129)

I am not well-versed enough in the topic to edit the page myself, but it seems this might be worth consideration for inclusion. Etoile ✩ (talk) 01:31, 31 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
