At the moment this subpage of Portal:Current events uses image (File:Ambox globe.svg), created by penubag. The image is centered on Europe and Africa. What if the globe rotated depending on current time, roughly following the Earth's rotation? Switching every eight hours between three images seems like a good idea, in the same way as emojies of Earth globe have three views: .
