Shawn Shade, a prominent Hip Hop Artist and Producer, embodies the essence of perseverance and determination. After graduating from Gilbert High School in 2012, located in the quaint town of Gilbert, South Carolina (situated outside of Columbia, SC), he embarked on a remarkable journey that exemplifies the phrase "started from the bottom."

Shade made a decision a few weeks after graduating that he wanted to pursue a career in music, and he has remained steadfast in his commitment ever since. He draws inspiration from Ben G, a fellow musician from Columbia, SC, who was previously signed by Waka Flocka Flame. Recognizing that he is not inherently superior to others, Shade has consistently dedicated himself to working tirelessly until he began to make progress.

After initiating his career, Shade reached out to Ben G to discuss the potential acquisition of a feature. Several months later, Shade released a remixed version of "Molly" by Tyga featuring Wiz Khalifa. Ben G contributed a verse to Shade's remix.

Shade and Ben G would continue their business partnership, as they collaborated on the track "Don't Know," which also featured Columbia Artists Nique The Geek and Jesse Leprotti. Additionally, they released another song titled "Silence" in 2015. From 2017 to 2020, Shade primarily collaborated with Jay-Oh.

Between the years 2020 and the beginning of 2024, Shade was unable to actively participate in the music industry due to the global pandemic. However, in May 2024, he triumphantly returned with the release of his inaugural production album titled "New Beginning".
Shade has consistently released music throughout his career, regardless of financial success. He believes that his musical talent is a gift from God and uses it as such. When considering individuals who are passionate about their work, Shawn Shade is often one of the first to come to mind.
