Talk:Ferrosilicon

Latest comment: 12 years ago by Materialscientist in topic Chembox

In China, ferrosilicon is used to make magnesium, and China is the world's leading supplier of magnesium so a link to magnesium, and stubs for pidgeon process and silicothermic would be appropriate.

There is a link to the pidgeon process so this seems to be an old comment. RJFJR (talk) 02:14, 25 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Chembox edit

{{Infobox requested}} I didn't find a specific template to request a chembox so I used 'infobox request'. RJFJR (talk) 02:20, 25 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

It is an alloy, not a compound. We don't use chemboxes for these (properties vary depending on alloying composition; no chem identifiers, etc.). Materialscientist (talk) 02:36, 25 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
