Acinetobacter indicus is a gram-negative, oxidase-negative, catalase-positive, strictly aerobic nonmotile bacterium from the genus Acinetobacter isolated from a hexachlorocyclohexane dump site in Ummari near Lucknow in India.[3][4][5]
