Hello! I'm Mangocove, and I study the public health sector in Boston, Massachusetts.
My main focus on Wikipedia is WikiProject Hospitals, spurred by my goal of improving information related to local and regional healthcare especially where it relates to hospitals and emergency medical services. I believe access to unadulterated information is vital in making medical decisions and in informing advocacy for building a better healthcare system. I do my best to thoroughly research and add to the articles I overhaul, however absent reliable information to add I will improve formatting, wording, infoboxes, and references (including recovering and archiving).
Articles that appear to have been written by paid and biased parties stir my curiosity and only make me want to look into them more! These articles are the ones I'm most attracted to when it comes to editing and overhauling, in order to bring them closer to neutral. To that point, my first big project was my overhaul of Steward Health Care System, which prior to my work was written like an advertisement and was the subject of several scrubbings by obvious interested parties.

Big project in the works edit
My biggest undertaking to date is my attempt to overhaul List of hospitals in Massachusetts. Trying to convert this into an informative, sortable table with information that can more easily be kept up-to-date. In the process of this, I'm generally editing, or even overhauling, the articles of every hospital that has one.

- Proposed merge on March 18, 2024. Set tentative deadline of April 1, 2024 for feedback and voting.
- This has taken something of a backseat as of May '24, however is still planned. It requires a lot of research to do properly.
- List of hospitals in Massachusetts
- Overhauling in progress, with goal of doing the same with other hospital lists to bring in line with the Hospitals WikiProject.
