picture on this stub

edit

I think there should be a picture on this stub, I offer my service to create and put one there but first, I'd like to know what you think we should put in there? The symbol of PRC? A picture of an old man like the one on japan-bio-stub or a yin yang or what? I'm lost. It should be representative and npov I think. (that means no stereotype) Feureau 14:32, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

Actually, for it to a have a NPOV, it would have to have both the flag of the PRC and the RoC; we shouldn't endorse one claim over the other in stub. If we were to add the RoC flag, it would look like this:
While this doesn't look terrible, it doesn't look good, either. I think that the PRC flag added two days ago should be removed. Þicaroon 01:11, 15 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
I don't mind the current map (although I think a color other than red should be selected). Better yet, however, since the boundaries of China shifted through the ages, I'd suggest instead a dragon, if someone has a good one to put there. --Nlu (talk) 19:29, 15 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Found one, but not sure how it looks. Feel free to revert if you want to. --Nlu (talk) 19:46, 15 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
I agree that a dragon would be good, seeing as it has been a symbol of China since long before republican times, but the current image is hard to see, even at 55px (furthermore, origami is Japanese.) I searched through Commons:Category:Chinese dragon, and found the below.
How do you guys like it? Þicaroon 21:12, 15 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
That looks fine to me. --Nlu (talk) 00:29, 16 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Why Man Zhow 8 Flag Blue In Border (滿州八旗 - 鑲藍旗) ? Is there any flags of Han Dynasty or Han Nationality? --wangguoqin1001 11:57, 5 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
I dunno, this image is just what appealed to me. You should feel free to search around for another image and change it, but keep in mind, this stub is for all people who live in China, not just Han people. Picaroon 03:58, 6 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
