Is the reference to the "Ironshirts" as being "gestapo-esque" really accurate? I would have thought that the obvious analogy was to the Nazi "brownshirts" (i.e. the SA before the "Night of the Long Knives") or the Italian Fascist "Blackshirts". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.116.24.237 (talk) 20:17, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Azdak edit
I saw a version of The Caucasian Chalk Circle, many years ago: at the Young Vic … I think!
It stuck in my mind, as Sylvester McCoy played Azdak.
Can someone find a reference to this version and include it, somehow? I’m having no luck!

- Hi, Cuddy2977. A review of McCoy's performance in the role appeared in The Stage on 31 October 1985, page 11. The title seems to be "Play Reviews: The Caucasian Chalk Circle". Does that fit with your recollection? I don't have access to the British Newspaper Archive, but you should be able to see my search result here. Hope that helps! - Hi, JezGrove Jez, that’s the very one! The only trouble with that particular on, is accessing it for free. Or, at least, accessing a free equivalent. There’s nothing on the WayBack Machine, from what I can see!
