External Links edit

I have removed one of the external links as it was offensive, refering to Tasci being a son of a hooker. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.42.21.153 (talk) 19:04, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Removed text edit

Trivia: Tasci changed his diet. For example, he eats white bread and avoid drinking milk from animal products.[1]

Serdar TasciSerdar Taşçı – The player is ethnic Turkish, and the original Turkish spelling of the surname is Taşçı. See also İlkay Gündoğan. 0716pyhao (talk) 07:31, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose He is German international footballer, German-born footballer and no source other than Turkish support that spelling. Soccerway is good at match report not names. Matthew_hk tc 10:30, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
BTW, İlkay Gündoğan use that spelling because his shirt name (on his Man City shirt) support the spelling with Ü and Ğ. Matthew_hk tc 12:44, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Note: This discussion has been included in WikiProject Football's list of association football-related page moves. Matthew_hk tc 10:30, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose - as above; German-born and German-raised. We don't use Turkish spelling just because that is his origin. GiantSnowman 10:36, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose As stated above as he is German we should stick to the Germanic-Latin alphabet. Govvy (talk) 13:04, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose born in Germany. We consistently represent all bios spelling by their nationality except Ana Ivanovic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by In ictu oculi (talkcontribs) 15:06, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
