Links to disambiguation pages in infobox

I happened to come across this article via WP:TDD and the Monthly DAB Challenge, and I saw there's a note that the dab links in the infobox are intentional. By this edit Worldwar1989 added "August 7" to the date of the restablishment of the Armed Forces after the invasion. But August 7 is not mentioned in the article or cited. Personnel figures

A couple of times recently a figure of over 500,000 has been added citing an Al Jazeera news article. That news article cites the 2020 edition of the IISS Military Balance when other editors have already added more recent estimates from the 2021 edition. Buckshot06 (talk) 22:10, 17 July 2023 (UTC)

We should keep Military balance as it is the most reliable sources. It is also widely used as sources by main news channels as [[2]] and many others so not need to change this at it is the most reliable sources for military. Shadow4dark (talk) 20:35, 28 February 2024 (UTC)

Some of the most recent edits appear to be inspired by webpages about *Iran,* such as the https://www.iranicaonline.org/articles/army-vi ; referencing the Pahlavi period.

Hello I have been seeing controversy over the number of soldiers on this page for a long time I think all the subjects like Navy & Air force & special forces & ground forces can be combined and deployed Until a comprehensive and reliable source is found? Or until it is announced

Military balance is already good source unless it is not updated. Come with proof that they not updated older editions with the last version. There is no reason to replace it with low quality sources. Shadow4dark (talk) 17:22, 7 May 2024 (UTC)

It seems Kerosene3 has a habit of inflating the personnel numbers in the article about the Iraqi armed forces and its branches, sometimes without any source, and other times using unreliable, outdated, or completely unrelated sources. Ckfasdf (talk) 17:30, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
