April 2024 Israel–Hamas war protests on university campuses in the United States would have made sense to nominate for either DYK or WP:ITN. It was created on 22 April, so it's too old to nominate for DYK. In fact, it has just been nominated at ITN, though it hasn't got much support (see the discussion there for the reasons). @Boud: I see. I'm not sure why I did not go with the April article. At the time it was new enough. Maybe it worth consulting @BlueMoonset whether I we can re-open the discussion with the then eligible article. --Mhhossein talk 19:41, 1 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Mhhossein, if you want to pursue April 2024 Israel–Hamas war protests on university campuses in the United States as a DYK, the thing to do is to open a new DYK for that article. At the moment, it is eligible for a nomination, because it is at least a 5x expansion over early on April 24. It might not be eligible if you wait any longer. Do not try to reopen a closed review for a different article! BlueMoonset (talk) 01:23, 2 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

In the 2024 pro-Palestinian protests on university campuses article, under the "Other countries" section, I don't see Iran mentioned. I know that there have been Pro-Palestinian student protests on University of Tehran campus, and both University of Tehran and Shiraz University are offering scholarships to pro-Palestinian student protesters in the United States who have been expelled from their universities. Also both the Iranian foreign ministry and the Iranian parliament voiced their support for Pro-Palestinian student protesters in the United States. I believe all these info should be added in the relevant sections of the 2024 pro-Palestinian protests on university campuses article. I'm currently under a sanction and therefore cannot update the article for the duration of the sanction. If you have time and is willing to do it, you can do it with relevant references. Thank you so much and regards, Crampcomes (talk) 21:37, 2 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
