Zangian (Persian: زنگيان, also Romanized as Zangīān and Zangiyan; also known as Zangeneh Maḩalleh and Zangī Maḩallēh)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Anjirab Rural District of the Central District of Gorgan County, Golestan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,810 in 950 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 4,354 people in 1,230 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,557 people in 1,378 households.[2]
