It may be worth mentioning that, in response to Larry Sanger's reported criticism of Wikipedia as being "broken beyond repair", a certain Robert Steadman from Matlock wrote a letter that was published in The Times on 16 April complaining that Wikipedia is riddled with errors and trivia, and some articles are controlled by cabals who push their POV. [1]

It is not clear whether the writer is the same person as the Robert Steadman about whom we have have an article. Two editors with similar names (robsteadman (talk · contribs · logs) and robertsteadman (talk · contribs · logs)) have been banned: the former claimed to be him, and the latter claimed to be the same person as the former. After some problems (mainly about articles to do with religion, as far as I can see), the first was blocked indefinitely by InShaneee in April 2006. The second was blocked indefinitely by InShaneee in July 2006 as a sockpuppet of the first. -- ALoan (Talk) 10:10, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh, and Talk:Robert Steadman mentions another letter in the Daily Mail. -- ALoan (Talk) 20:20, 18 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
