With it being practically a week since the closure of the December drive, and also of another year's worth of drives, it's high time the awards in both categories were announced and distributed, so without further ado:

WikiProject X is live!
Hello everyone!
You may have received a message from me earlier asking you to comment on my WikiProject X proposal. The good news is that WikiProject X is now live! In our first phase, we are focusing on research. At this time, we are looking for people to share their experiences with WikiProjects: good, bad, or neutral. We are also looking for WikiProjects that may be interested in trying out new tools and layouts that will make participating easier and projects easier to maintain. If you or your WikiProject are interested, check us out! Note that this is an opt-in program; no WikiProject will be required to change anything against its wishes. Is there going to be one? I'd like to hop on board if there is, but I don't see any sign of one existing or planning on existing, so I'm just confused. Sesamehoneytart 17:00, 1 June 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, there was one, but when it ended no awards were made. Sometime in June, it would appear theatUser:Wilhelmina Will, who has been administering the project (informally?), posted on her page that she is at least semi-retired from Wikipedia. --Lineagegeek (talk) 21:42, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

- I have changed the templates to {{semi-active}}. The project had a drive in June 2015, and many project members are still active on Wikipedia (see the members page). North America1000 07:05, 2 October 2015 (UTC)
Delete wikify template?
Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2012 August 10#Template:Wikify decided to delete the Wikify template, and since then, the number of transclusions has been reduced from 19,000 (according to contemporary reports) to 187, of which only six are article-space transclusions.
Is it time to finally redirect this template after four years? Since it was around for so long, it may be useful to keep its documentation and a public link to the deletion discussion somewhere rather than completely deleting it and having it be a mystery. Pinging Ryan Vesey, who is not around much anymore, but was the original proposer. – Jonesey95 (talk) 17:37, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
