Thousands of cityscape and other images of Malta may be deleted from Commons

Please see discussion at Wikipedia:Village_pump_(miscellaneous)#Two_weeks_to_save_freedom_of_panorama_in_Europe. I think it is an item of major interest to the editors interested in this WikiProject. WikiProject Barnstar

Proposed WikiProject:Malta Barnstar

Have been browsing the Wikipedia:Awards by WikiProject page and it appears this wikiproject doesn't have a Barnstar to recognise contributors - certainly there are a great number of contributors deserve one. Can I gauge opinion on whether this is something people would like to see happen? My photoshop skills are terrible, but would something along these lines work? Very happy to receive feedback - then can be listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Wikipedia Awards to go onto the official list. Kilbosh ^talk 14:51, 14 January 2020 (UTC)

We've had some support on the Wikipedia Awards so I have gone on to produce this Template. Feel free to tweak it as you see fit, with respect to text. We can still debate the image, of course. General Cleanup of Main Wikiproject page

Gozo Parameter

Greetings all WP:Malta participants. I have added a new parameter to the main template! If you assign any non-zero value to the “Gozo” parameter a note will appear on the banner itself!
