Tofu article
I think the Tofu article is comprehensive and interesting. It even has some small bits of information about Korea here and there. Tofu is a very important part of daily Korean cuisine, and so I wonder if I am missing something. There should be more somewhere, or at least Korean examples should be offered. Is there some article that I don't know about where Korean cuisine and tofu is summarized? If not, I suggest that the Tofu article needs some work to be sufficiently 'Koreanized'. Dudok
Does anyone know whether dudok root is indeed the correct name of the vegetable in this picture? If you can either confirm or correct, help on the image description page would be appreciated. And if you want to be really helpful, you might look in on the images I'll be uploading in the next day or so in Commons:Category:Seattle Korean Cultural Celebration and see if you can improve my descriptions and categories (the reward is that you may get some illustrations for articles that have been in need). - Jmabel | Talk 03:21, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

- It is mostly eaten as a gui yori(구이:genetic term referring to grilled cuisine in Korean)
Need article
Need article about seogi (석이버섯; manna lichen), known by the scientific names Umbilicaria esculenta and/or Gyrophora esculenta. Badagnani 07:16, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
- What can I say, I'm not a botanist but I'll try to find a source at my best. The mushroom is mostly used as an ingredient when making jjigae, jeongol, or tang. The mushroom is not usually eaten as a namul dish because of its slippery(?) texture. In addition, it is not preferred as much by Koreans. In my opinion, most of the dishes displayed at the festival in Canada are also unfamiliar to South Korean. --Appletrees (talk) 09:29, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
