Indeed a lot of work ahead there! I'm not sure what to do with Dessau, Roßlau, Bitterfeld and Wolfen, since the merger cities Dessau-Roßlau and Bitterfeld-Wolfen, and the "old" cities would all deserve separate articles IMO (as in de:). See for instance Sittard-Geleen, a recent combination of Sittard, Geleen and Born (Netherlands). The Statistisches Landesamt Sachsen-Anhalt link is very useful indeed, there are alphabetical lists of municipalities by Kreis and by Verwaltungsgemeinschaft under Gebietsinformationen/Gemeinden. - I am particular stuck with the city-amalgamations, as I did not get any comments on the main Project talkpage. I am working through the nav-templates currently, just to get the existing articles moved to the new districts. I have severely stubbed the new district articles to the point that the introductions in most cases need a major update. But that should get easier once the German counterparts develop. If you could look at the cities and after that check my progress. I am trying to be as clear as possible in my remarks on the project page as to how far I got in each district. - I missed your post on the project talk page. I would prefer new articles about Dessau-Roßlau and Bitterfeld-Wolfen, I'll look into that later today. I did a quick scan of the district articles and navbars in German wikipedia, it seems like they're completely up to date now. Markussep Talk 12:13, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
- Great - just on a little side note. We seem to have a lot of "City and Towns of" templates and "Towns and municipalities" - do you think we should harmonize that? If not the template name, at least the text in the template. Agathoclea 14:59, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

- I checked all the old district navbars, no articles link to them anymore. And I changed all navbars to Towns and municipalities. Markussep Talk 11:35, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
