Use of 'Ladies' or 'Women' in club names

There seems to be a fair bit of inconsistency around whether clubs are referred to using the 'Ladies' or 'Women' suffix in player articles, so it would be useful to get some clarification. For example, should West Ham United Ladies be used, as with Rebecca Spencer, or West Ham United, as with Vyan Sampson. I would lean towards the first example, but am happy to go with either. I would say you wouldn't need to use Women/Ladies – it's not usually considered part of the club's common name, hence why the article is West Ham United L.F.C. not West Ham United Ladies F.C. Number 57 22:02, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
Thanks @Number 57, I may or may not have agreed with that the other day, but after this timely announcement, I do now! There are one or two quirks in the naming of these teams though, e.g. Chelsea F.C. Women. Nzd (talk) 12:54, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
