Rationale for removing blue links from page edit

I removed all the links to articles with at least a stub and left juxt the redlinks. The page, as I see it acts as a communal place where redlinks created for towns in other articles can be placed for interested contributors to start.

Once a stub for that article is created, the article could be placed on a list for those needing expansion.

Feel free to revert if I have got this wrong--Mattinbgn 01:08, 15 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Smackbot edit

Can we expect smackbot to automatically create all these places in the near future? Assuming ours are done soon because Australia is near the start of the alphabet, I'd like to suggest if you had plans to do so or had some notes drafted on these kinds of places, you should create them asap. - Shiftchange (talk) 22:06, 11 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

If you are talking about Wikipedia:Village pump (proposals)/FritzpollBot, lets hope it never gets here. Certainly they have promised to talk to the relevant WikiProjects and I will do my best to see that it is not allowed to start, at least in Australia. -- Mattinbgn\talk 22:21, 11 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

WA edit

I've created a complete list for WA, compiled broadly speaking from the LGA articles' redlinks, but leaving out a few along the way. If anyone wants to grab a few and bring them onto this list for wider attention, feel free. Orderinchaos 12:03, 24 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I would be happy to, but where can I find the list? -- Mattinbgn\talk 22:16, 25 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
