@Bazj: Hello, I see your query to delete "Template Footer European Champions 10km Open water swimming Women" since you required deletion of "Template Footer European Champions 25km Open water swimming Man" and my question about the other same type of template. But I don't understand why you want to delete those templates, and why note the "Template:Footer European Champions 10km Open water swimming Men" for exemple ? Ellessar1977, I've linked to the policy in the nominations. I can see you're naming them "Footer..." but their purpose is to help users find their way around related articles which is why they're called "European Aquatics Championships navigational boxes". The templates you've mentioned all relate to competitions which have taken place ONCE and contain only ONE winner. They don't kelp users navigate anywhere else because there's no other relevant article. The only function the template has at the moment is to add a decorative splash of colour at the bottom of the article, and that is not what navboxes are for.

The other template you've quoted, Template:Footer European Champions 10km Open water swimming Men, also contains only one winner, so I've nominated that template for deletion too. The argument you keep using is often called WP:Othercrapexists, and doesn't work very well. If you point out another box that has the same faults as these three then I'll nominate that for deletion too.

Once the 2016 championship has been held, and a navbox can help users move from the 2014 winner's article to the 2016 winner's article, and back again, a navbox will be useful. I would encourage you to create a navbox at that time.

Bazj Ok, I understand, so you have big work to delete all Template:Footer in European Aquatics Championships, because many of them contains only one winner. Ellessar1977, I saw your changes last night - yes that would have been good enough to keep. Unfortunately I was using my phone at the time and didn't want to edit from there. It was deleted as G7 which means you either blanked the template or asked for it to be deleted. You can ask, on the talk page of the deleting admin for a copy to be restored.
