Hohenschwangau Castle is a 19th-century palace in southern Germany. It was the childhood residence of King Ludwig II of Bavaria and was built by his father, King Maximilian II of Bavaria. It is located in the German village of Hohenschwangau near the town of Füssen, part of the county of Ostallgäu in southwestern Bavaria, Germany, close to the border with Austria. Not done: @Mhhossein: I'd say that this was a worthy entry, but there's a problem: there's no mention in the article that the festival falls on 13 October this year. @Mr. Stradivarius: Thanks for your attention. This event is a non Gregorian-based one and so it's date changes every year. Even, every year, it's date is different in most of the countries based on their geographical location and because it is date is calculated based on lunar system. However, in many countries, 13 October coincides with this important event this year. Mhhossein (talk) 02:21, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
