- It's not a prohibition but a factual statement; the point is that someone who's in jail normally isn't allowed Internet access, and without Internet access, editing Wikipedia is impossible. Nyttend (talk) 23:53, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
- In most countries, people who are arrested for minor charges are usually released promptly, and are free to engage in normal activities pending trial. If someone has been arrested, it is always wise for them to follow the advice of their lawyer. If the person was arrested for photographing a military facility, for example, there would in most cases be no restriction on that person later photographing non-military historic sites.
