Slightly tangental, but Kentucky in the American Civil War and Timeline of Kentucky in the Civil War could be added to provide some context, though this idea might not be supported by many! - rst20xx (talk) 17:21, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
- Henry Cornelius Burnett, Luke P. Blackburn, Theodore Legrand Burnett, William E. Simms, Willis Benson Machen, William Preston (Kentucky) and Horatio F. Simrall are all possible additions, and debatably should added now. But I guess the distinction is that none of these were from the executive branch, right?
