This is primarily a skills-building course, focused on interdisciplinary approaches to compiling and evaluating existing research as well as conducting original research from feminist, queer, and/or critical race perspectives. In order to teach students how to locate reliable sources, compile and assess information, and synthesize and present it for a public audience, students will be creating new Wikipedia entries. Recognizing that there is a gap in feminist, LGBT+, and POC history, students will be responsible for identifying historical figures, groups,or events and contributing a new Wikipedia entry of their choice.
