Students will examine basic concepts of toxicology and apply those concepts to the effects of environmental xenobiotics. Topics include the distribution, cellular penetration, metabolic conversion, and elimination of xenobiotics as well as interactions of xenobiotics with biological systems.

For the Wikipedia assignment, students will focus on the Environmental Toxicology page with an effort to add non-US focus. We will avoid the medical and biomedical aspects.
