This course covers the history of the growth, consumption, sale, and impact of coffee and tea throughout world history. It is designed for education majors, not history majors. We will be using Wikipedia for a writing assignment to achieve several goals: basic (secondary-source) research skills, writing and communication skills, and collaborative work. We intend to complete some of the coffee- and tea-related stubs and/or to work with existing pages to expand and improve them.
