Wikipedia:WikiProject Tropical cyclones/Assessment/Hurricane Edith (1971)

Archived discussion. Current status: {{FA-Class}}

The GA reviewer requested a copyedit before its "inevitable FAC run". CracyC83 suggested it be at A class immediately and also put it up for PR. I hadn't considered getting this to FAC, but what more is needed for the article? Hurricanehink (talk) 23:28, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shorten the first paragraph of the lede. It has too much storm history on it. Titoxd(?!?) 06:36, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I got that. Would you possibly be able to give your famous copyedit to it? Hurricanehink (talk) 16:10, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Um, sure, I'll get to it now. Titoxd(?!?) 20:40, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Although I wouldn't send the article to FAC without first renaming the page to Hurricane Edith, per our naming conventions. Titoxd(?!?) 21:14, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Heh, that's what it originally was. Someone changed it because the hurricane wasn't retired, but because this was its only use, should this have the main article? I don't care either way. BTW, nice job, as always. Hurricanehink (talk) 21:18, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
