Wikipedia:WikiProject Tropical cyclones/Assessment/1998 Pacific hurricane season

Archived discussion. Current status: {{FA-Class}}

Rather than going for GA, I thought I'd bring it here to I don't incur Nilfanion's wrath :P I'm considering pushing this for FA, but wanted another look before FACing it. Hurricanehink (talk) 05:33, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Very, very quick review:
  • Track map for TD 1C?
  • The section for that tropical depression is too short for my taste. Even the other tropical depressions have longer summaries.
  • Are there pre-season forecasts for this season?
Overall, solid B, easy GA. The only reason I don't give it A is because I think A = FAC time, so I'll hold on it for now. Titoxd(?!?) 05:46, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I put {{stormpathneeded}} at the section for TD 1C, so hopefully Nilfanion or someone else with the track map generator can get to it. Unfortunately, the section for TD 1C is as full as it is going to get. The CPHC website doesn't have much info on it. I've tried looking for pre-season forecasts, but after about a good 20 minute serious Google search/Newspaper archive search, I could find nothing pertaining to this season. OTOH, there was a lot about the 1998 AHS, but not here. Hurricanehink (talk) 14:46, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I don't like suggesting FAC for articles that don't have GA status to fall back on, but I guess it's worth a shot once you get a track map for 01C. --Coredesat 04:09, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
