Welcome to the The Amazing Race task force of Wikipedia:WikiProject Television. Some Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of The Amazing Race and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. Goals

• To create, improve, and maintain articles relating to The Amazing Race, including articles about individuals, locations, production, etc.

Scope

• The scope of this project will be those articles which substantially relate to The Amazing Race. All of these articles should be included in the Category:The Amazing Race or one of its subcategories.

Guidelines

• How to write about television programs
• How to write an episode article

What Every Article Needs

• Results table (1 consistent format should be used)
• Notable events (these exist in some seasons, but not in the latest ones)
• Episode title quotes (Can be merged in race summary)
• Airdates (Ensure that the article incorporates the Airdate of all episodes)

Open tasks

• Monitor The Amazing Race 21, The Amazing Race: China Rush 3, and The Amazing Race Philippines 1
• In general, keep an eye on all articles.
  • I'm doing a major overhaul of the article about Sarah Reinertsen, contestant on The Amazing Race 10. My interest/expertise is her sporting achievements (she meets WP:ATHLETE). Currently only 2 sentences in The Amazing Race section. Would love someone with an interest to contribute (I didn't watch the show). Sportygeek (talk) 22:15, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
