Why is Doctor Fate considered of low importance? Fate is at least a mid-level importance character. --Scottandrewhutchins 19:46, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
We've got to contextualise these character's importance to the medium, not within their own specific sphere. So in the DC COmics Fate is probably going to be of mid level importance, but that translates to low in relation to the whole of comics. We've got to bear in mind that a lot of characters are going to be of no importance, the bit parters and so on. Low is quite high in that sense. I mean, an article on the character is not going to be a must, but it's certainly not filler. I can see how a low was given, but I can also see where you are coming from suggesting a mid. HidingTalk 20:12, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I hardly see how Carnage is of more importance than Doctor Fate. --Scottandrewhutchins 11:27, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've already indicated I feel Carnage should be low. HidingTalk 09:57, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Could someone look at Clea; it has no rating, on importance or quality. She's a very long-term supporting character, and I'd say the article is slightly better than a stub--Erikacornia 07:24, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Could someone take a look over Robin (Tim Drake) please. I've rated it B/Mid, but I'm not sure if it should be higher up the "Class" scale. I may be a bit biased in that I've just spent a fair chunk of time tweaking it. — J Greb 22:09, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Looks right to me. For me it would need more references, needs to be written with the present tense where it describes plot detail and needs better grounding our universe, as well as a better lead paragraph to be an A class. I might move it down to a start class article, but I'm not over-bothered. HidingTalk 14:00, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Chris has set them to Mid, Low and Low respectively, which I tend to agree with. I'd probably have gone Low on Carnage and offered a none on the other two, but Chris' way works too. HidingTalk 21:25, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, yes, I meant to make mention of this. Why Low on Carnage? --Chris Griswold (☎☓) 13:06, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
"Why Low on Carnage?" Well, why not. Is Carnage that important a character to the world of comics as a whole? Convince me. Certainly a mid to high level in relation to Spiderman, but to the entirety of comics? Green Goblin I would rate as mid, is Carnage as important as Green Goblin? HidingTalk 14:34, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No opinion if Carnage should be mid or low, but high is certainly overrated (see my reasoning for the different categories on the talk page). I notice that already, some overenthusiasm in putting articles in Top and High is happening, but I'll wait to comment on most until I have a better view of what numbers these categories will have. I think the wheat will eventually sort from the chaff as work gets underway. HidingTalk 14:34, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You would rate Green Goblin as low? I might rate him medium and then Carnage Low. --Chris Griswold (☎☓) 14:43, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No, I said I would rate him as mid, and then Carnage as low. Which it appears we agree on. Which is a good thing. :) HidingTalk 14:55, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I think you convinced me about halfway through my writing the previous comment. --Chris Griswold (☎☓) 15:03, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
