The genus Pecten. This genus name has to be differentiated thus, Pecten (genus), because there are other articles with the same name. This taxobox is currently (December 2014) still lacking a reference; in reality WoRMS is always a good source for any marine taxon and it conveniently lists the appropriate citation at the bottom of every page on the site.
