Wikipedia:WikiProject Aviation/Aviation accident task force/missing articles

The list below comprises major or precedent-setting aviation accidents that do not yet have their own article on the English Wikipedia. Many of them can be translated from other wikis; others can cite English news reports. Articles that are not red-linked are merely redirects to the aircraft type or airline accident list. This list is incomplete, with many other aviation accidents yet to be written about. Dig in!

[Also, it seems that all northern hemisphere countries have their own investigation authority with - until 2011 - no overall higher body. An exception is the European Network of Civil Aviation Safety Investigation Authorities (ENCASIA), but that as yet lacks a WP article. So, would somebody care to start such an article?]
