January 19 edit

12:27:13, 19 January 2015 review of submission by Shan3802 edit

I am a student of Institute of Engineering, Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India. I created the aforementioned page about my college on the request of the college authorities using the information provided by them, university brochure, notice boards and personal observation. The sources are quite reliable but unfortunately no information about the college is available on the internet so I am unable to cite references on the page. Due to this my page creation has been denied. Please assist me on this issue.

@Shan3802:   Declined Although I can understand your school's interest in promoting itself on Wikipedia, Wikipedia is not here to advertise and this work is best left to Wikipedians familiar with the process. Sources don't have to be online; they can be newspapers, magazines, and books, too. The requirement is that you have to have independent sources to verfiy what the draft says. I would recommend you instead post a request at the reward board or WikiProject India's talk page for help. Chris Troutman (talk) 16:11, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Chris troutman: The following pages also do not have any third party references but still they exist on wikipedia.

17:21:51, 19 January 2015 review of draft by Clovisgirl edit

Clovisgirl (talk) 17:21, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I authored an article months ago and now can't get back in as I haven't edited etc. help as i am trying to complete to submit! thanks

Hello Clovisgirl, what do you mean you "can't get back in"? You're clearly logged in as yourself, all you have to do is click "Edit" at the top of the Draft's page. If you want the draft to be reviewed for publication (which often takes several rounds of submit-decline with suggestions-submit again the improved version, etc. then you need to click the "Submit" button which appears in the big colored Draft box on your page. Does that answer your question, or are you asking something different? MatthewVanitas (talk) 05:10, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
