If this was real life and somebody insulted you, would you quietly say "Oh please stop..."? No. You would say "Oi, never do that again." Island Monkey talk the talk 19:56, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - This isn't real life and this template can act as a first introduction to newer editors on etiquette expected whilst interacting with other editors. Whilst a boiler plate template will get up the nose of a seasoned editor who should know better, for someone just starting out this can put a lid on their actions without needing to escalate the situation. The purpose of these templates are to guide, not to punish, to react or to escalate but to point out to editors their actions are not tolerated on Wikipedia, and this doesn't always need to be done with menace or instant threats of blocks. • Keep The nominator is suggesting that this template is bad because it's not rude enough? The whole point of a template like this is to try and keep situations from escalating. No valid deletion rationale (a reason why this template violates some Wikipedia policy) has been offered. rʨanaɢ (talk) 05:57, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. The template's wording is reasonable for non-egregious first offenses. (And I never say "Oi.") Rivertorch (talk) 06:42, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Snow Keep - Not much to add to the other keep arguments above besides the word, "snow." VQuakr (talk) 07:34, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • snowball keep is this nom even serious? Active Banana (bananaphone 18:40, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. I can't say it any better than Khukri.--Kubigula (talk) 22:33, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • SNOW keep. Useful warning template. Logan Talk Contributions 02:37, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, keep, keep The reason given for deletion makes no sense at all. It is very often better to be polite, even if you think the person you are addressing doesn't deserve politeness. Also, there is nothing to force anyone to use this template if they do wish to express themselves more forcefully, so what harm can keeping it possibly do? JamesBWatson (talk) 10:12, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep It's useful. Gerardw (talk) 11:42, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. I've just had a use for it with an (allegedly) new contributor. - Sitush (talk) 15:14, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Avalanche keep. I just put this on a user's page and saw the notice. Does anyone realize how badly this undermines its message? Please close now. Daniel Case (talk) 15:38, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unused template, WikiProject Space Colonization is now defunct along with WP:SPACE. JJ98 (Talk) 04:02, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment it was merged into WP:Spaceflight, IIRC; so redirect the template to Spaceflight's 65.95.13.213 (talk) 04:27, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Deleted after a bot changed the links and sorted out the double ones. mabdul 22:46, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per WP:NENAN. Templates specific to individual school systems is overkill, especially on the grounds that 99.9999% of elementary and middle schools are non-notable. This is no exception. Jrcla2 (talk) 04:00, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
