Template:Formula One teams 2009 (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

I believe this template is unnecessary. WP:F1 convention is to have a single "teams and drivers" template, which is updated every year, not a separate template for every season. Consider that if we had a separate template for every season, the Michael Schumacher article would include 17 such templates and the Scuderia Ferrari article would include 61 of them. In addition, the teams and drivers which competed in each season are already listed in the relevant season summary article. DH85868993 (talk) 15:25, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per nom. As DH notes, the number of these templates would rapidly get out of hand and the information is available via other means. I note that there is a similar template for the cars that competed in a given F1 season. However, most F1 cars compete for only one or two seasons, with a very few competing for longer (seven seasons is the record, I believe), so there is much less opportunity for articles to become swamped by templates. 4u1e (talk) 16:17, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
