Short version:
I created a list, at Wikipedia talk:Sockpuppet investigations/Renamed user 49274c4c204245204241434b, of all the IP addresses used by a sockpuppetmaster who has been wikistalking me for almost two years. Bbb23 deleted it, and grew impatient when I tried to discuss it with him or her. Because I am not seeking dramah, I am not requesting its restoration, merely its userification.

Long version:
I have been wikistalked by a very persistent individual, for almost two years.

Skipping all the details of that wikistalking, I created a union list of all the IP addresses they had used, on Wikipedia talk:Sockpuppet investigations/Renamed user 49274c4c204245204241434b. The list was useful for seeing if and when they re-used IP addresses they had used in the past. It was useful for recognizing patterns within the IP addresses they used. It was useful for seeing when they returned to using IP addresses that had been temporarily range-blocked.

Today administrator Bbb23 reverted my most recent report at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Renamed user 49274c4c204245204241434b, and excised the list I had created on the reporting talk page.

I asked for a fuller explanation for the excision, and then the deletion, at User talk:Bbb23#Could you please explain....

Bbb23's last comment, however, seems to bar a request to them to move the list formerly at Wikipedia talk:Sockpuppet investigations/Renamed user 49274c4c204245204241434b to a userspace page.

I am not seeking dramah here. I don't want to see the page restored, only to be promptly listed at MfD. So I am requesting it be moved to User:Geo Swan/list of IP addresses used by the sockpuppetmaster CommotioCerebri.

Bbb23 used {{db-g6}} in their entry in the deletion log -- "uncontroversial maintenance". However, given that the list represented hours of work, on my part, and its sudden deletion concerns me, I would question whether "uncontroversial" applies, so I question whether their use of g6 was authorized.

My article is about a religion created by an instagram user I follow. It is not meant to spread misinformation, nor does it spread misinformation. It simply describes and evaluates the Green Manian Religion. I do understand now that it may not have been formatted very well, and I will try to rewrite it so that it is in the same style as other religious wikipedia articles, but the only reason this article was banned was that User:RHaworth thought it was a hoax. It isn’t a hoax, it is a religion. I just wanted to write a wikipedia article about the religion since I thought it would be fun. Again, this is not meant to be a hoax, this is meant to describe a religion. If you want, I can even say that in the article at the top. It seems like some of that content was used when it was recreated in 2017 and the history from 2016 should therefore be properly attributed. I am a new page patroller, these ones appeared in the list. It turned out that they weren't really "new pages", but unattributed copy-pastes from Rail accidents in Winsford (text by other contributors). I deleted the unattributed copies and restored the original version of Rail accidents in Winsford (which is, contrary to your claim, not vandalism[1]. The 1999 Winsford railway accident wasn't even deleted by me but by another admin, as a copyright violation. Fram (talk) 14:15, 6 March 2019 (UTC)

  • First, this page was created BEFORE the release of the NOTUS album that you cite, but yes, the biographies of Dominick DiOrio come from similar sources. Second, this page was rejected because of "notoriety" within the music field, but wouldn't a commercial album (that you were obviously able to find) help qualify Dominick DiOrio for a Wikipedia page?   • I'm quite prepared to believe the text wasn't taken from that link, but the fact that this biography of the subject is present on a few websites means it probably originated outside Wikipedia and someone copied it for the draft. That means it is very likely to be a copyright violation. The alternative is that these album notes and at least one other site decided to copy a Wikipedia draft article, which doesn't make a lot of sense. Regarding notability articles about musicians need to show that the subject meets WP:NMUSIC. Merely having a commercial recording doesn't do this, although appearing on a significant music chart or being signed to a major record label probably would. Hut 8.5 21:50, 11 March 2019 (UTC)
  • Thank you for your feedback. In choral music, it is not common for artists or groups to be signed to a major record label (or to appear on a significant music chart), so how then does a choral conductor gain notability to be on Wikipedia? The subject is a significant figure in the field, but the field itself is small. Second, can I have the page back so that I can at least try to rectify the potential copyright violation? It is true that the information from the biography is taken from other sources, but it was edited. Hcman4dd (talk) 01:26, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
  • See WP:NMUSIC, there are plenty of other ways for a musician to be notable besides appearing on charts or being signed to record labels. Those aren't even the main standard used.
