Come Get Me Big Daddy

Good evening. I am really enjoying Bioshock. The problems lies in here. I can't find the perfect tactic for fighting the Big Daddies. I find that only three weapons seem to be the most effective the shotgun, the machine gun, and the rocket shooter. The problem is that I am always low on ammo for those weapons or low on health and keep on dying over and over again. My usual tactic is to stun him for the really short time he is stun use my rocket, then my shotgun, then my machine gun, but I die in the whole entire process. Are there any other tactics I could use to destroy Big Daddies and get that sweet sweet Adam? I have asked gaming forums, but they didn't reply with something that would help me. Thank you. It appears you are at the beginning levels. So, using advanced tactics such as Telekinesis Plasmid or Hypnotize Big Daddy Plasmid won't be available. You pretty much have the tactic. Get tons of health and tons of ammo (armor piercing preferred). Stun him. Race up and shot him right in the face. Run away and hide until you can get a good stun on him again. Heal. Heal. Heal. WDOUJI

Who or what is WDOUJI (Witch Doctors of Underground Jazz Improvisation)? Wii

Why are Wii Sports and Wii Play more successful than games that are more recognisable? Interactive Fiction Expert/Talk to me 07:03, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Isn't Wii sports packaged with the machine and thus something that almost all Wii Owners have? I would suspect the secret to their success is that they captured the 'mood' of the Wii as well as any games, they are ideal for parties and in my experience that is what makes the Wii more exciting to non-gamers than the 360/PS3 - they want some fun every so often, whereas xbox/playstation are more 'gamer' because they are generally full of single-player/network-play games rather than something you turn on and can instantly play in an interactive fashion. I haven't seen sales but presumably both these games sell well because a huge amount of the Wii market is in the family-enterainment arena. 194.221.133.226 (talk) 10:01, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

I didn't know they were, but I do know that one comes bundled with the Wii, and the other comes bundled with a second remote, for not much more than the remote costs alone. It's probably easier to get them than not to. AlmostReadytoFly (talk) 10:08, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Besides the bundling, these games are probably the most representative for gaining the interest of the 'casual gamer' market, which Nintendo has insisted on focusing on with the Wii. Name of the novel

Hi, I'm trying to remember the name of a novel. It's story went something like a man who finds out in the start of the novel that he's forgotten EVERYTHING about himself - name, occupation etc. He slowly finds out that he's a rocket scientist, who's been deliberately made to forget everything so that a sinister plan to blast something big goes unnoticed. I don't remember the names of the characters, but I do remember a girl called "Jean Sophie" and one "Elsie" or so. My memory says that the novel is "Countdown to Zero" by "Fredrick Forsyth", but there is no such novel by that author, and I couldn't find any novel by that name too. Can someone please help? Thanks!

It might help to remember some more details then, if possible, as The Currents of Space fits the description perfectly right now! It was a not science fiction novel, or a novel based in the future. Also, the character names do not ring a bell, and the book did not have anything to do with galaxies, stars etc. Some more help, please :) --RohanDhruva (talk) 08:07, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Minor/Major

How come in music, there is only minor and major? Why can't there be minor, middle, and major? Or by extension, 1 minor, 2 minor, 1 major, and 2 major? Etc. etc.?68.148.164.166 (talk) 15:53, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
