This page is currently inactive and is retained for historical reference. This shortcut has been replaced with MOS:REALWORLD. The "WP:Real world" redirect is too easily confused with WP:REALWORLD, which goes to a different page. Wikipedia conventionally uses ALLCAPS shortcut names without spaces, and uses "MOS:" not "WP:" shortcuts for the Manual of Style.
