List of songs recorded by SB19 edit

This list indicated every song recorded by SB19, from album releases to other various recordings. I've listed this list for peer review because I plan on nominating it for FLC. Since I am new to editing on Wikipedia, I am open to any suggestions in helping improve the list's quality. I would also appreciate suggestions for improving the list's lead section.

Much thanks! – Abacusada (tc) 13:40, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ref 46: "CNN Philippines" should be moved to the name of website parameter so it displays in italics   Done
  • Add Template:Use American English (or the appropriate one) and Template:Use mdy dates   Done
  • Replace short description with "none" per WP:SDNONE   Done
  • Filipino boy band SB19 has recorded... - false title, needs to include "the"   Done
  • Pablo is mainly... - who is Pablo? Add something like "The lead singer, Pablo, is mainly..." or whatever his title is   Done
Opted for "The band leader, Pablo, is mainly..."
  • All citations should use consistent title styling per MOS:CONFORMTITLE- the only one I can spot that should be changed to sentence case is ref 22   Done
  • The header of the last column in the table should be changed to Ref(s), as some cells contain multiple citations   Done
  • I don't understand why the "Writers" column is unsortable- use data-sort-value to make it sort by last names, and it'll be good   Not done
I have seen multiple FLs not having a sortable column for the "Writer(s)" category. For Billie Eilish's list, the nominator argued that it was unnecessary. I think this might be useful if we can differentiate the lead/main songwriter from "additional" songwriters, but I can't really differentiate them on this list.
  • What is the table sorted by on default? Does it start with songs alphabetically? By year of release?   Done
I intended it to be sorted alphabetically (song title).
Everything should be sorted correctly alphabetically now.
  • data-sort-value needs to be used on any cells tjat contain "The Juans"- it should be sorting by Juans, The, and therefore appear higher up   Done

It's very good for a first-time FLC- great job! Let me know when you take it to FLC. MyCatIsAChonk (talk) (not me) (also not me) (still no) 12:23, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@MyCatIsAChonk: Apologies for my very VERY late response. Thanks a lot for your suggestions! I have addressed everything last night (except for one in which I have left a comment). Let me know if you have anything else. I'll make sure you'll be the first person to know if I take this list to FLC! :) – Abacusada (t • c) 10:28, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Abacusada, fair enough on the writers. As for the default table sortation- if it is alphabetical, "G Pa Rin ang Pasko" needs to be above "Gento", as G then a space comes before G E. If you use the header to sort, you'll see the alphabetical order it should be in. MyCatIsAChonk (talk) (not me) (also not me) (still no) 12:22, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@MyCatIsAChonk: Good point. I went ahead and made those changes. I also spotted the same problem with other entries, so everything should be sorted properly now. Thanks for the clarification! – Abacusada (t • c) 14:01, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Update: This PR has been open for a month now and has been inactive for about the past two weeks. I will close this PR now and hope to get it through FLC once I finish some planned changes on the list. – Abacusada (t • c) 10:10, 20 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
