Wikipedia:Naming conventions (language policy)

It is Wikipedia English-language policy that titles, persons and events be uniformly rendered in English-translation followed by foreign-language translation (in parenthesis and with Latin script in italics) in both article title and first appearance in the body of the article.

Version #2 edit

It is Wikipedia English-language policy that 1) titles of nobility, military rank and political status, 2) names of persons with such titles or status and 3) names of important historical events and concepts associated with such persons and titles, be uniformly rendered in English-language translation/transliteration followed by foreign-language translation/transliteration (in parenthesis and with Latin script in italics) in their first appearance in the body of an article.
