In celebration of Open Access Week, River Campus Libraries at the University of Rochester will be hosting a Wikipedia for Climate Justice pop-up event on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 12 pm to 2 pm. The goal of this event is for participants to learn how to make some basic edits in Wikipedia and help contribute to or improve entries related to climate change.

No experience is necessary. Training will be available and there will be plenty of volunteers to answer questions about editing.

Drop in for half an hour or longer; no need to stay for the full session. Light refreshments will be provided.

Staff participation

This event is open to everyone. Members of River Campus Libraries staff are also welcome to volunteer for this event. To sign-up for a shift, please add your name to the list below. Each shift needs at least 2 volunteers, but more are welcome!

4. Click "Publish changes" and celebrate your (possibly) first, live Wikipedia edit
