Wikipedia Workshop edit
The workshop will cover:
- Introduction to Wikipedia and basic Wikipedia editing with the help of The Wikipedia Adventure
- How to add or improve contents.
- Overview of Wikipedia's Main rules.
- How to use templates, add links, give relevant references, etc.
- Uploading photos on Wikimedia Commons.
- Explanation of Wikimedia Sister Projects.
- Awareness about Wikipedia mobile application.
This workshop is for those who are new to Wikipedia and wish to learn Wikipedia editing. The participants will be taught how to create their user account, user page, editing in the sandbox, editing articles, adding links, using templates and about basic Wikipedia tools.
What to bring? edit
Participants are expected to bring their laptops. The Internet will be provided at the venue.
