This was the 12th London Wikipedia meet-up on Sunday 10 August 2008. We met for lunch again at the Penderel's Oak pub, Holborn WC1 at 1 p.m.
We discussed the location for Wikimania 2010 (strong interest in Oxford as a proposed location), adminship, pros and cons of keeping real ID confidential, various things that are hard work on Wikipedia, some ways in which it has changed as it has grown, QI, favourite sci-fi authors (briefly) and much else besides. Some left after lunch for a Prom and the London Mela and others stayed talking (or mainly just listening!) for hours.
