Event details edit

Women in STEM regularly suffer from gender-based harassment and exclusion, a phenomenon that is reflected in their chronic under-representation on Wikipedia. The University of Waterloo Library is hosting an edit-a-thon on December 7th, 2016 to help counter the trend and improve the representation of women in STEM fields on the site as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence events taking place on campus. Please join us at the Dana Porter Library from 12:00 – 2:30 pm to create and improve pages that highlight the work of women in STEM. First-time and experienced editors welcome!
